Residents living in RAAC affected houses in Aberdeen say they’re being ‘forced out of their homes’ as the local authority looks set to continue its plans to demolish the properties.
Aberdeen City Council is offering to purchase the privately owned homes, but residents say the shortfall means they’ll still be left paying thousands on their mortgages.
Plans to demolish all 500 homes had been paused as other alternative options were explored.
