Fourteen candidates are vying to become the next MP for the area

One week from now, the polls will be open in the Rutherglen and Hamilton West by-election.

The vote was triggered after the former SNP MP Margaret Ferrier was suspended from the House of Commons for breaking Covid rules in 2020.
