Warning from RNLI over persistent Cramond Island stranding

66 people have been rescued by the lifeboat this year alone - with June particularly busy

Dozens of people, including a baby, have had to be recused from Cramond Island in the Forth over the last few months.

The RNLI say it’s a persistent issue at the beauty spot as some visitors are not checking the safe crossing times, leaving them stranded when the tide comes in.
