Residents from a village in Aberdeenshire say the Scottish Government must intervene before their community is overtaken by huge industrial projects.
Kintore’s electrical substation is being extended as part of an upgrade to the line, but the area is also facing applications from battery storage companies and a hydrogen plant.
The Scottish Government said the potential impact on communities must be taken into account before planning decisions are made.
