Vigil held in Arbroath for women killed by their partners

A report found domestic violence had increased in Angus, despite a decrease in Scotland as a whole

The first vigil for women who have been killed by either their current or former partner has been held in Arbroath.

Members of the public, charities and the local authority came together to mark the end of sixteen days of activism to end gender based violence.

Further calls have been made for men to offer their support to tackle the issue.
