Unions protest against Glasgow council budget cuts

The council won't pre-empt anything - but like in every local authority, cuts are on the cards

Unions have protested in George Square, saying “People Make Glasgow, Cuts Destroy it”.

The city is facing a budget shortfall of more than a 100 million pounds over the next three years.
