A union leader representing workers at the Mossmorran chemical plant in Fife has accused politicians of giving up on trying to save it.
Owner ExxonMobil announced last week it plans to close the plant in February, with the potential loss of 400 jobs.
On Monday afternoon at a meeting involving the UK and Scottish Governments as well as the local council, there was a pledge to work together to find a way forward.
