Ultra-realistic robot helping in army disaster simulations

The aim is to create a safe environment for medics to test and improve their skills

A disaster simulation ward at Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline has been using ultra realistic robot patients to give army medics a chance to prepare for crisis situations out in the field.

The partnership between the NHS and the army has been running for six months and medics say the experience has been “invaluable”.
