Ukrainian Christmas festival held at Saint Cuthbert’s

It was organised by a woman whose brother is fighting on the frontline

Ukrainian refugees are preparing to mark their first Christmas in Scotland, as the war against Russia continues.

Many families are doing what they can to make the festive period special for their children despite the constant worry about loved ones back home.

A festive event was held at St Cuthbert parish church in Edinburgh city centre to celebrate the bond between Scotland and Ukraine, and to raise money for the war effort.
