European football’s governing body, UEFA, says it is “reviewing official reports” after Celtic fans displayed Palestinian flags before last night’s Champions League match – despite the club asking them not to.
Celtic have already banned fans known as “The Green Brigade” from away games after they displayed the flags at recent matches in the wake of the Israeli-Hamas conflict.
