Two cousins who had heart transplants urge others to donate

More than 40% of eligible adults have still not made their wishes known

They are a family who know more than most, about the importance of organ donation.

Now two cousins, who both had heart transplants at the same age, are urging others to talk to their relatives and register their wishes.

The plea comes as Scotland’s National Heart Transplant Service, based at the Golden Jubilee Hospital in Clydebank, has passed the milestone of 500 life-saving operations.

STV News has been speaking to the cousins who say their future has been transformed.
