Twelve areas of Glasgow could be amongst the first to introduce a ban on the use of fireworks out with public displays.
Shawlands, Dennistoun and Woodlands are among neighbourhoods where applications to establish firework control zones have been submitted to Glasgow City Council – making it illegal to set them off outside of designated areas.
