The UK government is in fresh disarray tonight following the resignation of the Home Secretary Suella Braverman.
It came as the Prime Minister tried to embolden her position at Prime Minister’s Questions by confirming that the state pension will increase by 10% next April.
However she did not commit to uprating benefits as the Labour Leader Sir Keir Starmer ridiculed her for a whole series of policy U-turns.
She declared she was a fighter not a quitter a quality she will need as her government faces fresh questions about its standing tonight.
