Tributes are being made across the country in memory of The Queen

For those laying flowers at the gate of her Scottish home, a chance for quiet reflection.

A massive 125000 people turned out in the capital to watch the Queen’s coffin pass through the streets – scenes which were replicated as the monarch made her way from Balmoral.

And it was the countryside, the hills and lochs that were on show as the cortege made its way from here that shows why the Queen loved this part of the world as thousands lined the street across the route to the capital.

One message in the tributes at the gates here simply said: ” You’ve done your duty now rest in peace”.

Across the country there are many people telling their stories of meeting the Queen or simply what she meant to them.
