Thousands of people have begun the journey home for Christmas, with Scotland’s airports, road network and railways all busy.
With some parts of the country expecting a wet and windy weekend we’re being urged to plan ahead and be prepared.
For others the festive season is a chance to head off to sunnier climes – more than one hundred thousand passengers are expected through Edinburgh Airport in the next couple of days.
