Training to start on Arbroath lifeboat as guild members quit

The charity says training on the Atlantic 85 will start in the coming weeks

The RNLI says its crew in Arbroath, have agreed to use a new lifeboat, which has been at the centre of a bitter dispute.

But as one long running dispute appears to come to an end – we can reveal all but four of the station’s guild – which fundraises for the charity – have now quit.
