Tories call on Scottish Government to step in on universities crisis

The First Minister says he's 'happy to engage' about the future of the university sector.

“It’s time to grab the bull by the horns” and review Scotland’s university funding model.

That’s the call from the Scottish Conservatives as Dundee University’s financial crisis dominated First Minister’s Questions earlier today.

More than 600 jobs are at risk as the university looks to plug a £35m deficit.
