Third phase of inquiry at Scotland’s largest hospital under way

This stage of the inquiry will last until November.

The third phase of the long-running public inquiry into patient safety at Scotland’s largest hospital is under way.

Families who’ve already given their evidence say four years is an inordinate length of time to wait to reach this stage.

Witnesses over the next 14 weeks will include infection control doctors, contractors and whistle blowers as the focus of the inquiry shifts back to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow.
