The mother of a schoolgirl murdered in 1996 says justice has been done but she will always feel the “void” left by her daughter’s death.
Caroline Glachan’s mum was speaking outside court after one of the teenager’s killers was jailed for at least 17 years.
Donna Marie Brand is the third person to be sentenced for her part in what the judge described as a plan to inflict murderous violence.
Brand, acting with others, then left Caroline to drown in the River Leven in West Dunbartonshire.
