The warning from a mother whose son has been left with life-long injuries after a series of morphine underdoses at Scotland’s largest children’s cardiac ward.

A review found a catalogue of failures after seven children received just a tenth of the pain relief needed after having open heart surgery at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow last year.
