The sister of a man who plunged to his death from a block of flats in Aberdeen hopes a new inquiry will help her to get answers.

Jamie Forbes died in January last year, after being repeatedly subjected to assaults, in a flat in the Elphinstone Court area of the city.

A preliminary hearing into a fatal accident inquiry into his death has taken place on Tuesday.

STV News spoke to Jamie’s sister, who believes the police failed to help save her brother.
