The pay dispute involving Scotrail and more than one thousand train drivers is over after an agreement was reached.

A ballot of members of the Aslef union has accepted a five per-cent rise plus bonuses.

Both sides say they hope it’s the start of getting back to a normal timetable – but the rail operator is warning the full service won’t resume immediately. Here’s our senior reporter Gordon Chree.
