Testing underway on Orkney for cancer causing gene

Men and women are being offered a spit test to determine whether they carry the gene

Testing is underway on the Orkney island of Westray for a gene variant linked to a higher risk of breast cancer.

In March, scientists discovered those with grandparents from the island were TEN times more likely to develop breast and ovarian cancer.
