Teachers struggling to find work after graduation say they feel ‘forgotten about’

The Scottish Government says the number of permanent posts has remained stable.

Just one in every six recently qualified primary teachers has managed to secure a permanent job.

And those teachers struggling to find permanent work say they feel forgotten about.

Many are being forced to leave the profession or find alternative work – including pulling pints – to make ends meet.
