Two hundred taxis in Edinburgh have been fitted with potentially life-saving emergency bandage kits for use in the event of a serious accident, fall, or stabbing.
A person can bleed to death within minutes if they suffer a severe haemorrhage, but the charity Rapaid say the kits can provide a vital lifeline before medical help arrives.
