Taxi drivers have launched a last minute appeal to Glasgow City Council to avoid an estimated 350 vehicles being taken off the road, as part of the Low Emission Zone enforcement.
They say it would be “folly” to allow the cars to cease trading – and are urging a reprieve until they are compliant.
It comes as the figures show over a million pounds in fines have been handed out since the zone came into force.
