The First Minister says eradicating child poverty is the Scottish Government’s first and foremost priority.
John Swinney delivered his first Programme for Government just 24 hours after his finance secretary had announced half a billion pounds of cuts in public spending.
Mr Swinney promised whole family support to tackle poverty. However, opposition parties claimed ministers are out of ideas and money, with no strategy or plan.
