Summerlee Museum receives multi-million pound funding boost

As part of the plans the team will build a new miners' village, welfare hall and learning complex

Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life is due to be transformed after receiving a significant funding boost.

The facility in Coatbridge is set to get £3.4 million from The Lottery.
