Students at Edinburgh University have been delivering hand-written Christmas cards to care home residents across the city.
It comes in an effort to make them feel less lonely over the festive period.
The project, which was launched during the pandemic by the University’s sports union, started off with just 150 cards.
This year Around 2,000 cards have been sent to nursing homes in the capital.
