Students advised to drop out if unable to find accommodation

Some students have told STV News they don't know where they're going to sleep tonight

Students at Glasgow University are being told to defer or drop-out, if they can’t find somewhere to live.

A lack of housing is leaving many homeless – spending night after night sofa-surfing — and desperately applying to letting agents.

In an email from the university, some were told not to travel to Glasgow unless they had somewhere to stay.
