An estate agent has told STV News that homeless students are now so desperate for a place to live, they’re offering six months rent in advance in an attempt to secure a property.
It comes as huge numbers of those attending universities are still sofa-surfing and staying in hotels. Despite the development of student housing in the city, there aren’t enough places for them to move into.
