Stonehenge alter stone originated from North East Scotland

Experts from Aberystwth University have been investigating the mystery for 15 years.

The plot has thickened over the origins of the altar stone at the ancient monument of Stonehenge.

It has emerged that the neolithic rock originated in the northeast of Scotland after Orkney was ruled out.
