State of the art 3D scan copy created of RRS Discovery

The images will be used to aid the ongoing conservation project

A new digital twin of the RRS Discovery is bringing the everyday stories of those who sailed on her to the public.

Using state of the art technology, a team from the University of Southampton has created a 3D copy of the historic ship.
