South Uist businesses demand ferry disruption compensation

Today the Scottish Government launched a consultation into the new Clyde and Hebrides Ferry Services Contract

Fed up and angry.

Businesses in South Uist, are demanding compensation due to ferry disruption.

Two of the island’s ferry routes have been suspended during the week, following technical issues and there’s also concern about further delays in opening Uig Harbour.

It comes as the Scottish Government launches its consultation into the next Clyde & Hebrides Ferry Services Contract.
