South Lanarkshire Council to conduct review into Gibson case

At the time of her murder, Amber Gibson was staying at Hillhouse children’s home, which is serviced by the council

A review into the care of Amber Gibson, who was sexually assaulted and murdered by her brother, is being carried out by South Lanarkshire Council.

The council say the review into the “truly tragic case” will ensure “events are fully understood, and if necessary learned from”
