Some Glasgow Central services resume after devastating fire

Uncertainty remains over full reopening as crews stay on site

Some train services at Glasgow Central have resumed after Sunday’s devastating blaze, but rail operators still cannot say when the main part of the station will open.

Network Rail says it’s exploring options for a “partial-reopening”, but it all depends on what decisions are made on what remains of the fire-damaged building on Gordon Street.

Fire crews remain there for a fourth day.
