Soldier with Huntington’s Disease to undertake charity trek

Shaun McKenna is hoping his gruelling task will raise as much money as possible

A Scottish soldier with a life-limiting condition is preparing to trek 54 miles to raise awareness and funds for other military personnel in need of support.

The 33-year-old is living with Huntington’s Disease, a condition that gradually stops parts of the brain from working.
