The SNP has confirmed that 72,000 members will have a vote in the contest to replace Nicola Sturgeon. That’s nearly a third less than two years ago.
The leadership candidates demanded the publication of the membership numbers, amid concerns about the conduct of the vote.
Ash Regan and Kate Forbes, are calling for independent scrutiny of the ballot, but Humza Yousaf says he is willing to trust the system.
