SNP conference kicks off after 39 seat loss at the General Election

The SNP’s 90th annual conference opened with a two-hour private session where party members told the leadership what they felt went wrong.

The verdict – the SNP needs to rebuild the trust of voters and focus on delivery from the Scottish Government, and SNP Westminster leader says they must regain their reputation for the 2026 Scottish Parliament election.
