Those behind a pair of ‘smart glasses’ designed in the North-East hope it will improve the mobility of people with Parkinson’s. 70% of those who took part in a trial by Robert Gordon University showed an improvement in their ability to walk after just two weeks of wearing the device.
It has made participants less reliant on other aids like walking sticks.
