One of many issues in the in – tray for whoever replaces Nicola Sturgeon is a bill to create buffer zones around abortion services in Scotland.
It was put forward by a Green MSP and fully backed by the First Minister last year. But pro-choice campaigners feel progress has been slow.
Ministers deny dragging their heels. But the zones – which are aimed at protecting women from harassment – could be in place in the rest of the UK by summer.
