The Edinburgh Fringe started out on the principle of celebrating diverse talent – and giving everyone a stage. But two sisters – hoping to debut a play about growing up with Down’s Syndrome – say they’ve missed out.
Sophie and Emily Potter were selected by the new Keep it Fringe Fund– offering grants to performers facing financial and social barriers.
But, they say a lack of support from the venue forced them to cancel their show.
