Business owners are taking Edinburgh city council to court after calling a new licencing scheme for short term lets a de facto ban.
They say the scheme, which was brought in to address concerns about the impact AirBnB style lets can have on communities, puts their livelihoods at risk and want the scheme should be more proportionate.
