Service reforms could lead to higher costs say dentists

The Scottish Government claims the new system will give greater clinical freedom for dentists

Dentists are raising concerns about reforms to their service which will likely lead to a rise in costs for those who pay for their treatment.

The new payment structure will come into effect from the 1st of November with the Scottish Government claiming it’ll improve the system for both patients and practitioners, but some dentists say it’s not enough.
