SEPA launches consultation as flooding projected to increase

An estimated 284,000 homes and businesses are currently identified as at risk of flooding

The Scottish Environment Protection Agency has launched a consultation on the areas most vulnerable to flooding across Scotland.

The agency say the number of homes, businesses and services at risk is forecast to increase by 40% by the 2080s due to climate change.

The process aims to help increase resilience to tackle flooding.
