Former sub-postmasters convicted of embezzlement in Scotland have been put in an “intolerable position” over whether to continue their appeals in court, according to an advocate representing one of them.
A hearing today heard concerns anyone fighting to clear their name and losing the case could then miss out on being exonerated by any wider moves made by the government.
