Scottish secretary ‘resigned’ to Grangemouth refinery shutting down

Labour's Ian Murray believes it is too late to save the site and the 3,000 jobs.

The Scottish secretary says he is resigned to the Grangemouth oil refinery closing next year.

Ian Murray signed a multi-million-pound growth deal for the area with Deputy First Minister Kate Forbes and the leader of Falkirk Council today.
