Scottish Government sets out plans for net zero by 2045

Opposition parties say the plans are simply a rehash of existing policies.

The proposals include targets to install cleaner heating systems in buildings, as well as planting more trees and stepping up the restoration of peatland.

But ministers have rejected calls to cut livestock numbers.

Opposition parties say the plans are simply a rehash of existing policies.
