The Scottish Government has outlined plans to cut the number of people diagnosed with cancer at a later stage.

Its 10 year strategy also aims to reduce inequalities associated with the disease but admits the challenge remains formidable.

The government has failed to meet one of its key targets for treatment for a decade.
