Scots woman caught in violent Iceland earthquakes

Caitlin Mclean is from Glasgow and is visiting her partner in his hometown

A Scot has been speaking of her fear after being caught up in a series of earthquakes in Iceland.

It’s believed that an eruption could be imminent and would cause widespread damage to the town of Grindavik where Caitlin Mclean has been visiting her partner.

The couple posted a series of dramatic videos on social media before being evacuated to safety and the nearby capital of Reykjavik.
